Life Occurred
For some Life occurred behind the thorny wire. There, Numbers were born - they worked, - they died, and death? it visited them not only during a bath. To all those in striped, dirty suits could have occurred - Life. |
Questions
What if you rock the memories, and hear how much they wanted to live? What if you rock the echoes of the past? How did people differ then? By faith, by dreams? Some ate bread from the oven – I did not – I think I did not like to. Tell me, grandfather, why, to take a bath, were they going by train? I don't know – I don't think I remember. |
Pytania
Trousers
He wrote his life out in stages: spread out like notes on a staff. He was born ten years before it started. He did not manage to remember his childhood – he had to be an adult then. He also missed his old age – suddenly came out death dressed as a gendarme. It was laughing at the little boy with his trousers down. |
Spodnie
Other
On the cadaverous hand the inarticulate armbands with the Star of David said: here goes the Other. The pronounced one in the crowd whispered: those who protect me – let me keep my dignity but he wondered whether life is good – not worse than death? |
Inny
Iron
- for professor Bogumila Rouba In the apparent space of life the iron had a soul, that did not die not even slowly. Only an emaciated hand got cold on an empty table. On both sides of the wall telepathy associated ashes with life. Remember, my grandson, you were born a human, but once there was war, and on it new homes were sown. |
Evil Ones
Will we be able to tell that there were those who killed the future? In the roar of the shots, we try to whisper life. The eyes speak only with silence: - we are afraid of death. Life is - trembling. Despite all this it is hope for another - smile of chance. Perhaps because of it the evil ones will not hear our silence? |
As Once Did
From every alley the Magnetic People attracted. Then death was born more often than life. Our God, who is in us, let us live to see tomorrow. Do not take away the future. Onto the bomb craters poured down a rain of tears. Some lasted until the uncertain tomorrow. The Magnetic attracted, as once did - the Crucified. |
Jak kiedyś
Z każdego zaułka Magnetyczni Ludzie przyciągali. Wtedy śmierć rodziła się częściej od życia. Boże nasz, któryś jest w nas, pozwól doczekać do jutra. Nie zabieraj przyszłości. Na leje po bombach lał deszcz łez. Niektórzy dotrwali niepewnego jutra. Magnetyczni przyciągali, jak kiedyś - Ukrzyżowany. |
Saddle-Cloth
Yesterday I was in Lodz with my friends - today I know that only in dreams I can meet them. Yesterday I dreamed of factories - today I know that they sew German uniforms. Yesterday I drove a cab - today I know I must be stronger than the horse that pulled it. Yesterday I slept in starched bedding - today my wooden cot is covered with saddle-cloth. Yesterday was a phantasm - today only the belief that in people will remain something of a Human. |
Derka
Vortex
Drawn into the vortex of hatred, we try to understand why the world is changing. Every day, some war takes away someone's tomorrow. In the morning he said: Whoever we are, it is good to be able to be a joy for others. We will not live again. We will try to exist despite their will. In the evening he stopped talking, they silenced him! |
Wir
Wieczorem przestał mówić, uciszyli go! |
Sea of Mists
In the hideout I understood that normality is when you lie when you want, and not when you have to. When else? When from the sea of mists bodies do not emerge. Normality is when people do not harm people, and children do not play killing! - Dada, what are you thinking about? - About war. - Why? It's over. - My dear, in us - it will remain forever. |
- O wojnie. - Dlaczego? Ona się skończyła. - Córciu, w nas - zostanie na zawsze. |
